VPBank to present VND 500 million to build charity houses for Former Youth Volunteers in Thanh Hoa Province

On 29/07/2013, in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank) solemnly held the Financing ceremony to build charity houses for Former Youth Volunteers in Thanh Hoa Province. 
 

In 2013, VPBank will spend VND 5 billion to implement social welfare activities. This is one of the series of activities within VPBank social welfare program in 2013 named “Action for the dreams.”


Mr. Nguyen Minh Tho, the General Commander of Central Youth Volunteer force said: “The coordination between VPBank and Command Committee of Central Youth Volunteer force to build 10 charity houses for the former Youth Volunteers in Thanh Hoa province is a great source of encouragement to the youth volunteer force throughout the country, contributing to ease suffering from war.”


Regarding this program, representing VPBank, Mr. Dau Quang The, director of the North Central Region shared that: “Through the financing activity to build charity houses for Former Youth Volunteers in Thanh Hoa, VPBank wishes to contribute to sharing difficulties with homeless and helpless former youth volunteers following the philosophy “When drinking water, remember its source” of the Vietnamese people. This is also a practical community-oriented activity of VPBank in the sequence of activities to celebrate its 20th anniversary of establishment.”
