Western Union service of VPBank is a payment channel for inward remittance and outward remittance.
  • Receive money at transaction counter: Individuals, regardless of whether they hold a bank account or not, can receive money transferred from overseas countries by their identity documents via Western Union service.
  • Transfer money at transaction counter: Individuals, regardless of whether they hold a bank account or not, can transfer money from Vietnam to individuals or companies holding an account at the Western Union Company overseas via Western Union service for purposes permitted by the State Bank of Vietnam and VPBank.
  • Receive money via account (APN): When an overseas remitter requests money transfer to account of the receiver in Vietnam, VPBank will directly credit the credit's account.
  • Receive money at transaction counter:
    - Money is received in USD or VND.
    - Receiver is not required to pay any fee.
    - Receiver is not required to hold an account.
    - Receiver is not required to pay income tax.
  • Transfer money at transaction counter:
    - When money is transferred in USD, receiver can receive money in USD or original currency
    - Remitter is not required to hold an account
    - Money is rapidly transferred and receiver can receive money right after remitter successfully transfers money.
  • Receive money via account (APN):
    - Your account will be automatically credited.
    - All current accounts at commercial banks in Vietnam can be credited.
    - Money is simply, conveniently, safely, rapidly received.
  • Customers residing in Vietnam, at the age of 18 years or older, are allowed to use this service under terms and conditions.

  • Receive money at transaction counter:
    - Customers come to any branch/transaction office of VPBank nationwide to fill information about the sum to be received in money receipt and present their identity documents.
    - Customers supply exact information about the sum to be received, including full name of remitter, full name of receiver matching information on identity documents, the sum to be received, country of remittance, security question and answer (if any).
    - Identity documents of receiver include identity card, citizenship card, effective passport.
  • Transfer money at transaction counter: Customers come to any branch/transaction office of VPBank to fill in bank transfer slip and present their identity documents and documentation for money transfer purposes. In case money is transferred in USD, receiver can receive money in USD or original currency.
  • Transfer money from an individual to another individual: Identity documents of remitter include personal identifiers, other documents for money transfer purposes as provided for by the State Bank of Vietnam and VPBank.
  • Transfer money from an individual to a company: Identity documents of remitter include documents providing proof of purpose of money transfer to the company. Information of the company includes name, code of the receiving company, name of country of remittance, account number, confirmation number, reference number, transferred amount (USD)
  • Receive money via account (APN): Receiver supplies remitter his/her account information, including full name of receiver similar to full name of receiving account holder, beneficiary bank and account number at any bank in Vietnam
