VPBank‘s brand reached Top 300 globally for the first time

VPBank's ranking has increased by nearly 100 levels, making it one of the Top 300 most valuable banking brands in the world, while maintaining its position as the strongest brand private bank in Vietnam.

According to the ranking of Brand Finance, the world's leading brand valuation consultant, VPBank's brand has increased by 81 levels to 280th position, and became the first Vietnamese private bank to rank among the Top 300 most valuable banks in the world.

Mr. Lai Tien Manh, representative of Brand Finance in Vietnam, said: “VPBank has had a breakthrough, up nearly 100 levels, ranked 280th and reached the highest position among Vietnamese private banks. This is considered an incredible growth compared to other banking brands in the world ".

VPBank has presented in the ranking of Brand Finance twice times with the improvement in both brand and places over years, always maintaining the leading position in private banking sector.

Representative of VPBank shared: “VPBank’s grew nearly 100 levels in the list of the world's most valuable banking brands, which once again affirms its position as the largest private bank with the highest brand value in Vietnam. The Bank considers this to be an honor but also a mission, requiring more efforts to strengthen its brand, together with profit growth, to maintain its leading position and join strong regional brands. ”

By the end of 2019, VPBank’s consolidated profit before tax reached VND10,334 billion for 2019, exceeding the target by 9% and up 12.3% year over year. Consolidated TOI reached VND22,122 billion and that of core business operations was 20.3% year over year, consolidating the bank’s leading position in in terms of TOI. Credit growth rate reached 17.6%, above sector average. Meanwhile, customer deposits grew by 23.7% year over year, ensuring capital adequacy and fuelling business expansion.
