VPBank to participate in supporting the Greater Mekong Subregion and Quang Tri
VPBank will participate in the technical assistance project named “Livelihood Support for the corridor towns along the Greater Mekong Subregion and Quang Tri province” according to the grant letter No. 9173-REG between the representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and the representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The Agreement to grant for the “Livelihood Support for the corridor towns along the GMS and Quang Tri province” Project worth US $883,000 is funded by Japanese Government from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR) and operated by ADB.
The JFPR project will support the project targets to use loans to convert GMS traffic corridors into comprehensive economic corridors through enhancing approach to livelihood and income opportunities by creating support channels for vendors, as well as training and management programs for town officers.
